Ward Churchill expects to fired by the University of Colorado today, his attorney said.
"I'm clairvoyant, and I see the future," attorney David Lane told The Denver Post. "Ward Churchill will be fired, and Wednesday, I'll be filing a lawsuit" over free-speech rights
Churchill is accused of academic misconduct. CU reviewed his Indian scholarship after his controversial remarks comparing the victims of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks to Nazis.
During the controversy, Churchill's alleged Indian heritage became an issue but it was not a consideration in the CU review. Churchill has claimed Cherokee, Cree and other ancestry.
"When the CU regents meet today to consider Churchill's fate, they should fire him," The Post said in an editorial
