"If any of the University of Colorado faculty members who are charged with investigating Ward Churchill have prejudged the case, for or against, they need to recuse themselves. No matter what they think of Churchill's views on Sept. 11 or his right to express them, allegations of academic fraud have been leveled against him and require an unbiased review.
Of course, all the theatrics of a Churchill inquiry can be avoided if CU would conclude buyout talks with the controversial professor and get him on his way."
