Sen. Clinton to campaign on Pine Ridge Reservation
Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-New York) will be campaigning on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota tomorrow.

Clinton is speaking at a “Solutions for South Dakota's Future” at the Little Wound School in Kyle. The event is open to the public.

Clinton is the second presidential candidate to visit a reservation. Sen. Barack Obama (D-Illinois) campaigned on the Crow Reservation in Montana last week.

Prior to Clinton's visit, her campaign sent former president Bill Clinton to the Crow Creek Sioux Reservation, the Rosebud Sioux Reservation and the Yankton Sioux Reservation on Sunday. Most Sioux leaders in the state have endorsed Obama.

Native Americans make up 8.6 percent of the population in South Dakota and overwhelmingly vote Democratic in national elections. The primary takes place June 3.
