The Winners

The Losers
Cherokee Nation - Silly Chad Smith, don't you know that you can give money to schools without going through a middleman? Or do you think if you compact enough with the state, they'll pony up to Class III gaming? Not likely.

Russell Means - Well, we applaud you for inflicting yourself on a smaller group of people. But does it have to be Indians? We'd rather you took on Janklow.

In The Middle
Phil Hogen - You're ready for Senate confirmation and then the NIGC. You better enjoy this time because it may be your last chance to chill.

Neal McCaleb - Going so soon? Say it isn't so!

Unrecognized Tribes - Get happy! Once the BAR staff gets those raises, they are sure to get to your petition faster.

Individual Indians - Somehow, we're sure the new phase of the task force will continue to ignore your needs and rights. We'll wait for Judge Lamberth to rule.
