Marlboro cigarettes have high levels of carcinogen

A study by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention showed that Marlboro cigarettes have higher levels of a cancer-causing substance than almost every cigarette brand in the world.

The CDC compared the levels of nitrosamines in Marlboros to other brand of cigarettes in 13 nations. In 10 of the countries, Marlboros had twice the level than the other brands.

The study was published in Nicotine and Tobacco Research, a journal.
