The mother of a Native teen whose death in 1990 remains unsolved says the police's apology for it handling of the case is too little, too late.
Stella Bignell and others say police in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, mishandled the investigation into Neil Stonechild's death. The police is now admitting it didn't do a good job.
Police were looking for Stonechild, 17, the night he went missing. He was found frozen to death on the edge of town.
An official inquiry held hearings and took testimony over the last several months. A report is expected this summer.
