Officer can't recall night Native teen went missing

A Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, police officer testified on Monday that he never saw a Native teenager who later turned up dead in 1990. Const. Larry Hartwig said he didn't even recall who Neil Stonechild was until the Royal Canadian Mounted Police started an investigation. Hartwig was the second in command the night Stonechild went missing and the day he was found frozen to death on the outskirts of town. Stonechild was 17 when he died. Get the Story:
