Police team at issue in inquiry of Native teen's death

The inquiry into the death of a Native teen in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, more than 13 years ago is focusing on an "issue team" police set up. The team planned to gather information about Neil Stonechild, 17, and his family, the deputy police chief admitted. The team also came up with a media strategy to explain why two police officers alleged to have been with Stonechild before he disappeared were "reassigned." The police set up a similar team when a Royal Canadian Mounted Police task force investigated Stonechild's death. Get the Story:
