Pala Band prepares to offer online poker games in California

The Pala Band of Mission Indians in California has started an Internet gaming venture.

Pala Interactive will go live as soon as Internet poker games are legalized. Phil Ivey, a professional poker play, is due to serve as the "brand ambassador" for the venture.

The tribe is partnering with a former executive from an Internet gaming company on the site.
