The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation of Connecticut is waiting for better weather to break ground on an outlet mall at its casino.

The tribe planned to break ground in February. But a source told The New London Day that the 312,000-square-foot mall is still on track to open in the summer of 2014.

"This project is now shovel ready. We're just waiting for better weather," the source told the paper.

The Tanger Outlets Foxwoods will be located at the Foxwoods Resort Casino.
