The Nebraska Supreme Court will hear oral arguments on Friday in a Whiteclay liquor license dispute.

The state Liquor Control Commission, citing repeated violations, canceled the license of a liquor store owner in the border town. Jason Schwarting appealed and won a decision before a county judge. The state then took the case to the Supreme Court.

Schwarting's family has owned the Arrowhead Inn since 1980. It is one of four establishments that sell millions of cans of beer to residents of the Pine Ridge Reservation, just across the border in South Dakota.
