Tisha Vega, a member of the
Oglala Sioux
Tribe, won't fight extradition to Nebraska in connection with the death of a 20-month-old Omaha toddler.
Vega, 34, is currently being held in Pennsylvania. She faces a manslaughter charge for the September 24, 2006, death of Nathaniel Saunsoci-Mitchell.
Nathaniel had been living in Vega's home in Lincoln, Nebraska. He had been placed there by the Omaha Tribe child welfare services agency.
