The National Indian Gaming Association will hold its mid-year conference in Oklahoma next month. This year's event takes place September 9-10 at WinStar World Casino and Resort. The facility is owned by the Chickasaw Nation and is located near the Oklahoma-Texas border. Among other issues, tribal leaders will be discussing the National Labor Relations Board. Since 2004, the federal agency has been steadily expanding its reach into tribal gaming facilities, including WinStar. Other issues on the agenda include Internet gaming and the 2014 election.
