Who are these higher education board members, and who do they work for?
I can’t believe there aren’t more Sioux fans upset with what is going to happen. They should start complaining.
Here is the way I see it: A decision was made long ago that the nickname had to go. President Robert Kelley and athletics director Brian Faison were hired for that reason. The Herald agreed to help their cause.
Come on, higher ed board members, please have enough respect to listen to American Indians. Let them work out a plan on their own schedule.
