A pair of explosions destroyed a home on the Rocky Boy Reservation in Montana while two people, including a 16-year-old girl, were inside.
The explosions were caused by a mix of propane and methane gases. The home sits on a high water table, which caused a sewage backup that led to the explosions.
Glenn Eagleman was working on his truck when the explosions occurred. Inside were his 28-year-old daughter, Theresa, and 16-year-old niece, Celesia, who were not critically injured.
Eagleman asked for his home to be relocated the Chippewa Cree Tribe lacked the money to do so. The tribe's housing authority held a lunch to raise money for the Eaglemans.
