Aneva Yazzie has been named the new chief executive officer for the Navajo Nation's housing agency.
Yazzie began serving last Friday by attending housing meetings in Washington, D.C. She previously worked for the Department of the Interior, the Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Arizona Department of Housing.
Yazzie replaces Chester Carl, who was suspended by HUD following allegations that he accepted bribes.
