People who still want to influence Rep. Bob Ney (R-Ohio) can go to his office on Capitol Hill. It's still open for business despite the Congressman's recent guilty plea.
Ney's staffers won't say where their boss is, and neither will his lawyer. "Hes in and out," an attorney told The New York Times.
Republicans demanded Ney's resignation after he pleaded guilty to taking gifts from Jack Abramoff in exchange for legislative favors for Abramoff's tribal and non-tribal clients. But Ney says he still has some work to do before being sent to jail, presumably sometime early next year.
