Rep. Bob Ney (R-Ohio) is set to enter a guilty plea in federal court today for his role in the Jack Abramoff scandal.
Ney accepted campaign contributions, trips, meals, drinks and other items of value from Abramoff. In exchange, he provided legislative favors of Abramoff's tribal and non-tribal clients.
Ney has not officially resigned from Congress but his guilty plea would pave the way for his removal. He could announce his resignation in court in Washington, D.C.
Ney faces up to 10 years in prison.
