Man to return to Canada to face Native abuse charges

A Canadian man accused of abusing three Native boys at a residential school in British Columbia has been arrested in Thailand.

During the 1960s, Gordon Irvin Kinney, 64, had 30 to 40 Native boys in his care at the St. Mary's Native Indian Residential School. But charges weren't filed against him until 2002, when he had already left the country.

Canadian police tracked him through the Philippines and to Thailand. He was finally arrested on Wednesday.
