The Governor's Commission on Tolerance held its first meeting in Anchorage on Thursday in preparation of holding a number of hearings on racism in Alaska.

The Commission was formed by Governor Tony Knowles in response to the paint-ball attack of Alaska Natives by three white teenagers.
