FCC to review impact of cell towers on Indian sites

FRIDAY, MAY 2, 2003 The Federal Communications Commission announced a strategic plan to review the impact of cell towers on historic and sacred sites. FCC chairman Michael Powell said the agency will work with tribes to develop a national database of important locations. He also said there would be an improved consultative process. Get the Story:
