Neb. panel could vote on casino proposals

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 12, 2003 A plan to authorize Indian casino in Nebraska is a "leading" contender in the debate over the expansion of gaming, The Omaha World-Herald reports. The General Affairs Committee could vote as early today to advance the proposal or another one to authorize gaming statewide. Currently, tribes are only allowed to operate Class II, or bingo-like, machines. Get the Story:
