Native woman provides alternate treatments

Audrey Sunnyboy, an Alaska Native woman, has opened a treatment and rehabilitation center for alcoholism and drug abuse.

Sunnyboy wants to provide alternate methods of treatment for Natives. She uses a method that curbs alcohol and drug use through changes in diet.

Sunnyboy's work is based on the a method developed by Joan Matthews Larson, a doctor. The method is growing in acceptance.
