N.M. tribes participate in area planning projects

Five Pueblos in northern New Mexico have joined a committee to address land use and planning in the Pojoaque Valley.

Representatives of the Santa Clara, San Ildefonso, Namb, Pojoaque and Tesuque tribes met with the committee, which consists of other local governments. The tribes are concerned about environmental, water and education issues.
