The Wisconsin 3rd District Court of Appeals on Wednesday reinstated a woman's negligence lawsuit against her former employer, the La Courte Oreilles Band of Lake Superior Chippewa.

Julie Aasen-Robles slipped on an icy sidewalk on her way to work at the tribe's casino. Although the tribe has a self-insurance policy, she was not covered because she was not at work when the accident happened.
