FEBRUARY 1, 2001 A proposed National Park Service rule to allow members of the Hopi Tribe of Arizona to collect golden baby eagles from the Wupatki National Monument is drawing criticism from those who say it will open up national parks to hunting and other activities. The rule was publihsed in the Federal Register last week. It was under consideration by the Department of Interior for more than a year.
