Native America Calling to host presidential forum

Native America Calling will host a presidential forum on its show on Monday.

So far, representatives of the two Democratic candidates have confirmed. Keith Harper (Cherokee) will represent Sen. Barack Obama (D-Illinois) and Holly Cook Macarro (Red Lake Ojibwe) will represent Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-New York).

As of yesterday, no one from the Republican side has confirmed their participation. Sen. John McCain (R-Arizona), the former chairman of the Senate Indian Affairs Committee, is facing former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney.
