Sask. authorities looking into death of Native man

Authorities in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, are investigating the death of a 25-year-old Native man.

The unidentified man was found in a snow bank near a university campus. Police say he had attended a round dance for Lawrence Wegner, a Native man who froze to death on the outskirts of town.

Several Natives have been found dead in Saskatoon. An inquiry is currently being held into the death of 17-year-old Neil Stonechild. In another case, two police officers served jail time for abandoning a Native man in the freezing cold.
