The Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut launched a new ad campaign that touts the non-gaming options at its flagship casino.

The "Full of Life" campaign promotes the hotel, restaurants, retail shops and 10,000-seat arena at the Mohegan Sun. It includes print, Internet, billboard and television ads.

"We're shifting the focus … toward showing off the property more," George Galinsky, the senior vice president of marketing communications for the Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority, told The Hartford Courant.

The tribe is facing increased competition as gaming options grow in New England.
