Officials in Siskiyou County, California, are worried about the casino proposed by the Karuk Tribe.

The tribe released a draft environmental impact report last month. County officials say it doesn't address impacts on traffic and law enforcement.

"It's very important that these issues be determined to make sure there is adequate mitigation in place," Richard Tinsman, the county's deputy director of planning, said at a board meeting on Tuesday, The Siskiyou Daily News reported.

The tribe is planning to break ground on a 36,497 square-foot facility by next summer. Construction is expected to take a year.
