The Poarch Band of Creek Indians interviewed 1,324 people at a casino job fair that ran more than 12 hours.

The first people started lining up around 7am on Wednesday morning even though the job fair wasn't supposed to start until noon. Gaming executives ended up opening the doors early and interviewed the last person at 1:15am on Thursday morning.

“We were glad to see the great turnout,” Cody Williamson, the general manager of the Creek Casino Wetumpka, told The Wetumkpa Herald.

The tribe is hiring about 600 people at the casino, which is undergoing a $246 million expansion that will debut in December.
