Navajo Nation presidential candidate Lynda Lovejoy isn't worried that she doesn't have as many endorsements as incumbent president Joe Shirley Jr.
Lovejoy has the support of former chairman Peter MacDonald, former president Milton Bluehouse, Sr., three Navajo Nation Council delegates and one former presidential candidate.
Shirley, on the other hand, has the backing of former president Peterson Zah, former president and current Arizona Sen. Albert Hale, former chairman Leonard Haskie and three former presidential candidates.
Lovejoy hopes to build support through a number of rallies before Election Day on November 7. She hopes to be the first woman to lead the Navajo Nation.
