NOVEMBER 8, 2000 A proposition to build a stadium for the Arizona Cardinals using tourist dollars is close to winning as the votes are tallied. Voters in Maricopa County have so far narrowly approved Proposition 302. But the Fort McDowell Yavapai-Apache is also vying for the stadium and recently made a proposal to the Tourism and Sports Authority board. Get the Story:
