Suspected killer of Native woman arrested

OCTOBER 2, 2000 On Saturday, police in Anchorage, Alaska, arrested a man suspected of killing Della Brown, one of five Alaska Native women found dead in recent weeks. Joshua Allen Wade, 20, was taken into custody. Police are exploring the possibility of his, or someone else's, connection to the killings of the five women, along with another whose attacker may have believed was Alaska Native.
