FRIDAY, AUGUST 17, 2001

The 83rd annual Crow Fair officially begins today on the Crow Reservation in Montana, drawing thousands from Indian Country and beyond.

Richard Fuchs traveled 5,270 miles from Hungary to attend the fair. He is producing a story about the pow-wow for Hungarian television.

Indian imagery and stories are common in Europe. Many are romanticized but Europeans still travel to America to see reservations first-hand.
