"Some say reconciliation died with Gov. George S. Mickelson. I say it ceases to exist when we allow our own spirits to give in to racism. Some say the state can do better in terms of reconciliation. I say we can do better by searching within ourselves and beginning the re-birth of Mickelson's dreams and vision for the state. . ."
