Phone call annoys Norton's parents

FEBRUARY 27, 2001 The Denver Post today reports that the parents of Secretary of Interior Gale Norton were "peeved" by a phone call critizing their daughter. The Wilderness Society called Norton's parents in Kansas and asked them to renew their membership. The caller said their membership was important in order to "fight Bush and Norton," says the Post.
