Pueblo reporter turns down position

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 16, 2001 Although he was offered another position, well-known Pueblo journalist Conroy Chino has decided not to return to a New Mexico television station. Due to econimc issues, Chino's job as an investigative reporter was eliminated by KOB-TV in Albuquerque. It was one of 16 positions the station has removed. Chino was previously employed by KOAT, another Albuquerque station. Hailing from Acoma Pueblo, some may remember Chino from his cameo in the sci-fi flick "Contact." Get the Story:
