WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 22, 2001 A North Carolina lawmaker isn't apologizing for a racist e-mail he forwarded to his colleagues in the State Lesgislature. "Two things made this country great: White men & Christianity," reads the email Rep. Don Davis, a white Republican forwarded. "Every problem that has arrisen (sic) can be directly traced back to our departure from God's Law and the disenfranchisement of White men." Rep. Ron Sutton, the only American Indian in the General Assembly, said the letter is indicative of the white supremacist views of Davis. The e-mail originated from a white supreacy web site.
