Bush daughters cited for alcohol

JUNE 1, 2001 Authorities in Texas issued two misdemeanor citations to President Bush's twin 19-year-old daughters for an incident in which one allegedy tried to purchase alcohol using a fake ID while the other was served alcohol. Jenna was declined a drink at an Austin restaurant after she produced a third-party identification. Barbara was served a drink but it is not known if she was ever carded by the restaurant. The White House declined comment, stating it was a private matter. pleaded no contest May 16 to possession of alcohol. Bush quit drinking alcohol on his 40th birthday. In 1976, he pleaded guilty to to drunk driving. Get the Story:
