MONDAY, JANUARY 21, 2002 Online casinos are facing an interesting problem in the post-dotcom bust age. There are plenty of visitors to their sites, willing to gamble their money away. But credit card companies, worried that the transaction can be successfully challenged, are regularly refusing to authorize payment for card holders who try to get into online betting. Some online casinos say their revenue has fallen at least 30 percent as a result. Some say a quarter or more of credit transactions are rejected. Get the Story:
