Navajo Nation negotiating gaming options

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 5, 2001 Now that gaming has bee legalized on tribal lands, the Navajo Nation stands to gain from casinos in more ways than one. The tribe will get payments from the Tohajiilee part of the reservation in New Mexico, where a casino is slated to be developed. But since the tribe doesn't use its share of slot machines in Arizona, it could lease them out to other tribes and get some of the profits. Get the Story:
