SEPTEMBER 25, 2000 The Mississippi Band of Choctaw are among the nation's top gaming industry contributors to politicians in the 2000 year cycle, says the Center for Responsible Politics. Senator Trent Lott (R-Miss) ranks 15th on the top 20 recipients of gaming industry money. He received $23,000 toward his 2000 election campaign, reported the Center. The Choctaw tribe has given some $111,000 this election cycle, according to the Center. Get the Story:
