WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 19, 2001 The two tribally-owned casinos in Connecticut reported August 2001 revenues of $131 million on their slot machines, sending $33 million to the state. Foxwoods, owned by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation, took in $77 million. The amount was an increase of 11.8 percent above August 2000. Mohegan Sun, owned by the Mohegan Tribe, took in $54 million, up 9.4 percent from August 2000. Get the Story:
