Three Cherokee sisters own the Energy Exchanger Company of Tulsa, Oklahoma, one of the most successful companies in the field of heat transfer worldwide. The company was founded by their father in 1974 and provide heat transfer equipment to top companies including Amoco BP, Conoco, Exxon, Mobil, Phillips Petroleum, and Texaco. Sales in 1999 were $20 million.
