MAY 2, 2001 A spokesman for the National Indian Gaming Commission said the goverment is still reviewing a proposed management contract between Donald Trump and the Twenty-Nine Palms Band of Mission Indians in Caifornia. Environental impacts and the effects of the $60 million expansion on non-Indian communities are among the issues the NIGC is looking at, said Kyle Nayback. Meanwhile, Coachella city officials om are worried they are being kept in the dark about the plans. There appears to be some sort of work going on at the site, say officials. Get the Story:
