JANUARY 31, 2001 The Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut is expanding their successful casino and, as a result, needs 800 new blackjack, craps, and roulette dealers. The tribe in April and May will hold training classes for new recruits in anticipation of opening its new 115,000-square foot casino this fall. Dealers earn an average of $4 an hour and $12 an hour in tips. The nearby Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation is also seeking about 150 new dealers and is also offering training courses. Get the Story:
