SEPTEMBER 5, 2000 The Chickasaw Nation of Oklahoma is seeking a home for its new tribal headquarters, with the communities of Ardmore, Tishomingo, Ada, Davis, and Sulphur competing for the capitol complex. Tribal legislators say the administration hasn't made an effort to get the opinion of everyone in the tribe, however. The headquarters are currently located in Ada. The tribe announced last year the decision to build a new complex. Get the Story:
