Guilty plea in reservation stabbing

FRIDAY, AUGUST 31, 2001 A 17-year-old girl has pleaded guilty to helping her boyfriend accused of stabbing her foster parents on the Leech Lake Ojibwe Reservation in Minnesota. The girl is scheduled to be sentenced September 25. She will be placed in the juvenile system. The 14-year-old boyfriend is charged with attempted first-degree murder of foster parents Eugene and Carol Campbell and first-degree mureder of Darryl Headbird Sr., his father. Get the Story:
