Pueblo woman tapped to run jails

MAY 31, 2001 Charlene Tsoodle Marcus of Taos Pueblo on Monday will become the administrator of jails in Taos County. One of her biggest tasks will be to work on planning and funding for a new justice center / jail complex in the county. The county currently sends prisoners to facilities in Santa Fe and San Miguel counties instead. Marcus' previous job was at the Northern New Mexico Community College as coordinator for the Northern Pueblos Institute. Get the Story:
